I have always loved to paint. I knew I wanted to be an artist at a very young age, when I would lie on the floor with my crayons drawing dinosaurs, and during the cold Chicago winter months, I had plenty of time to do just that.

Over the years I have focused on many different styles, but I keep coming back to the landscapes and cityscapes and I finally realized it was so simple, just one simple word.  Light!

For me, when I create a painting it's all about capturing the natural light. Whether it's a city scene or a landscape, It's all about light. Even the still life's I paint  and figure drawing that I do, I pay close attention to the light source.

I have tried to present that vision to you with the images on this web site. I will always be adding new images as I finish them, and I hope you enjoy what you see.    I thank you for your support.
